Hayden Adams says SBF bought Uniswap.com for a seven-figure sum and redirected it to a fork

Uniswap founder Hayden Adams said the original holder of the Uniswap.com domain once asked the team for a seven-figure price, which Uniswap declined to pay. Adams said Sam Bankman-Fried, or SBF, then bought the domain for a seven-figure amount and pointed it to a Uniswap fork project. He added that the domain’s later “malicious use” became the basis for Uniswap’s legal team to eventually obtain the domain at no cost. Adams did not disclose the legal process behind that outcome, and he also did not say when the domain transaction took place.
